PMI Macedonia Chapter encourage you to celebrate the International Project Management Day within your organization.
Why you should do this?
As a project manager working with project teams, take this day and recognize the whole team for their contributions for their time, energy, creativity, innovation, and countless hours to deliver products, services, facilities, and provide emergency and disaster recovery services in every city and around the world.
How to celebrate the International Project Management Day?
- Organize special meeting or event within your company to show their appreciation, and give people not used to being project managers a chance to see what it’s all about and how complex even the smallest project can be to organize.
- Random Act of PM Kindness: Perform a random Act of Kindness. Buy a cup of coffee for a Project Manager or a project teammate. If your colleague is located remotely, why not show your appreciation via email. Email them and let them know you appreciate them.
- Even if this isn’t possible or practical, it would be a show of proper respect. Take a moment to show the people who manage your projects how much you appreciate them on International Project Management Day.
- Volunteer. Become a PMI volunteer. Volunteer while building a professional network, share your skills and experiences, and develop as a leader. Sign up to be a Volunteer with your local PMI Chapter www.PMI.org.
